Cumberland Academy of Georgia, Helping Children Succeed

Cumberland Academy of Georgia is a nonprofit, private school that specializes in the needs of children of Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADD and ADHD, PDD-NOS, and learning disabilities. ​Since the school was founded in 2007, Hughes created developed a variety of digital strategies to increase the school’s exposure. Hughes Media designed and built the website and implemented search engine optimization, which has resulted in the enrollment of over 400 students to-date. The website inquiries currently account for ​98% of all admission requests to the school. In addition to website maintenance and search engine optimization, Hughes Media also manages Cumberland’s pay-per-click strategies and marketing materials.

Website Development with E-Commerce Function:

Hughes Media developed a responsive, WordPress website for the school that incorporated E-Commerce functions for the school to accept donations. The website was built when the school was started in the year 2000 and inquiries currently account for ​98% of all admission requests to the school. In addition to the website, Hughes developed a logo for the website and printed materials.

Marketing Materials & Strategies

Hughes Media implemented SEO (search engine optimization), PPC (pay-per-click), email marketing and print strategies over the past 10 years. Hughes also creates and distributes content such as press release for additional exposure.

Results

The website is ranked at the top of Google for local and national keyword searches, such as Autism School; this keyword alone is searched for almost 3,000 times per month. The website has #1 position ranking for over 25 keywords, and over 100 keywords ranked on page 1 of Google.
