Fall 2018 Digital Marketing Internship

Hughes Media is a digital marketing agency that provides web design, SEO, pay-per-click, social media, and a variety of other digital marketing services for local and national clients. We are looking for an intern with the possibility of full-time hire. If you love marketing, a fast-paced environment, and being creative, this could be the career path for you! This is an in-office position only.

Job Duties

  • Brainstorm with our team on marketing and social media strategies

GRAPHIC DESIGNER SPECIALIST POSITION

We’re looking for a talented and personable graphic designer with at least 2-3 years experience to join our growing digital marketing team based in Atlanta, GA. The candidate we’re looking for must be able to translate marketing into designs that are clear, compelling and visually appealing. Candidates must include resume AND a link to your online portfolio to be considered for this position.

Job Duties:

  • Develop creative assets for existing brands, including website graphics, logos, banner ads, email newsletter graphics, PowerPoint presentations, social media graphics, and some print when necessary, such as brochures, packaging/labels, etc.
  • Constantly research new graphic design trends and communicate new ideas to the team
  • Evaluate color, font and other design elements on websites for revisions and A/B testing experiments
  • Produce promotional print material such as cards or labels when necessary
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with ever changing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Work independently as well as in a group when necessary
  • Contribute to the design evolution of an existing brand
  • Contribute graphic design tactics to team brainstorming sessions
  • Research and remain up-to-date on current industry practices

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST POSITION

We’re looking for an enthusiastic social media specialist with at least 2-3 years experience to join our growing digital marketing team based in Atlanta, GA. The candidate we’re looking for will be responsible for managing various social media accounts for a variety of clients across the following industries: home services, B2B, retail, real estate and more.

Job Duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of social media clients on various platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • Build a social media strategy for each client and create content/posts for each client as well as an editorial calendar in advance.
  • Develop, schedule and manage social media content/posts for channels utilizing Hootsuite.
  • Grow the fan base for each client through research of social influencers, and outreach and engagement with new and existing followers
  • Manage advertising campaigns utilizing Facebook Business
  • Manager, which includes creating, monitoring and optimizing ads
  • Respond to client messages/comments promptly
  • Assist with reputation management and negative reviews
  • Update social media pages as needed (example – when a new feature comes out in Facebook that can be applied to a client page)
  • Track and analyze data generated by social media platforms and generate new ideas and/or ways to optimize campaigns
  • Contribute social media tactics to team brainstorming sessions
    Research and remain up-to-date on current industry practices

Candidates must obtain the following qualities:

  • Experience managing Facebook ads and working with Business Manager and Hootsuite
  • Experience creating and optimizing campaigns for specific objectives (page likes, clicks, conversions, etc)
  • Knowledge of strategy when setting up targeting – including lookalike and custom audiences
  • Split testing variables (targeting, objective, copy, graphics)
    Knowledge of influencer marketing

STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGER POSITION

We’re looking for an Account Manager with at least 5-7 years experience to join our boutique digital marketing agency based in Atlanta, GA. This is a leadership role and will require input in directing the company’s future. An Account Manager is responsible for developing a strategy when onboarding new clients and managing the relationship between the clients and agency.

Job Duties:

  • Manage a list of existing clients and new clients and enhance relationships with clients to drive retention and customer satisfaction
  • Respond to client needs in a timely manner and maintain regular contact with clients to ensure loyalty and customer satisfaction
  • Assist the sales department with new proposals and presentations and participate in sales team presentations when necessary
  • Develop creative briefs for new clients
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Operations Manager to accomplish goals, strategies and tasks as well as develop/recommend new strategies for success
  • Report analytical data to clients and discuss future recommendations to help optimize accounts
